DIY Cooling Feet Wipes - How to Refresh, Sooth, and Detox Tired Feet.

Summer has been exhausting my feet! I feel like they constantly need something cooling and detoxing - especially at the end of the day. So the idea of making these feet wipes was simply inevitable;-) Yet another life saver I just can't live without now;-)

WHAT I USE:
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda - works as a great deodorant and antiperspirant (read here)
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt - is rich in minerals, detoxifies by drawing toxins out of your feet
  • 2 tbsp Aloe Vera Gel - is very moisturizing, soothing, and healing
    (read here)
  • six drops Lavender Oil*** - is a highly potent anti-fungal oil (read here)
  • twenty drops Peppermint Oil*** - has amazing cooling and refreshing effect
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • a pack Dry Cleaning Wipes
  • empty Sport Top Water Bottle
***Both lavender and peppermint oils have antibacterial properties that help fight unpleasant odor before it starts. Sweat only smells when bacteria eats and digests it, so by killing bacteria, essential oils stop odor before it begins (read here)

HOW I MAKE THEM:
I first put sea salt and baking soda into the water and shake it all very well together. I then combine aloe vera gel with essential oils, add this mixture to the soda and salt solution, stir and pour into my bottle.

I pour the solution onto my wipes which I then store in an empty wipes container and let the wipes soak overnight.
And that's my summer feet saver! Happy feet = happy me;-)))
