My Overnight Stay Necessities: Getting Ready to Holiday Travel!

Since I don't have my family here in the US, we might end up going to a resort for Thanksgiving weekend. And I thought I'd share with you what I have in my overnight bag. Now, I might do a post about what's in my regular bag some day, but this one will only include the necessities specific to overnight stay.
 Ok, let's see;-)...

Body Travel Size Necessities: favorite Bath and Body Works Lotions, Aveeno Body Lotion, Dr. Bronners Organic Lavender Soap, Alba deodorant
Facial Travel Size Necessities: Aveeno everyday scrub, facial brush, sample size jars from The Body Shop, Lancome and Clinique that I reuse for facial products.
Hair Travel Size Necessities: Giovanni All-Natural Hair Spray and Leave-In Conditioner, TreSemme Shampoo and Conditioner, and Tiny Hair Straightener
Teeth: Travel-size Tom's toothpaste, Listerine mouthwash, floss, and cheap tooth brushes, that I simply throw away at the end of the trip (cause I think it's kinda gross to bring wet used toothbrushes back with you)
Random: Mini Lint Roller, Favorite teas and Daily Vitamins
And of course - coffee. Btw, I've noticed that mixing half-pack of that Sarbucks VIA with Nescafe one in a 10oz cup makes it taste like my favorite Caramel Macchiato, which could be a great alternative, given there won't be any coffee shops near the resort.
What are you guys traveling with this Thanksgiving? Plz share your ideas!

  1. We are so alike! I think it's gross to carry around wet toothbrushes too, so I throw mine out the last day! Lol

    1. Thank you;-) I usually use resort soaps for hands only, cuz they dry out skin a lot. As for shampoos, Wyndham resorts never have them in the suits, unless you ask at the reception, which I don't really feel comfortable doing:-) Thank you for the tips, Rich Uncle!!!;-)
